The group will then continue to walk beyond Loggerheads for approximately 1 ½ miles to look at the early 19th Century mining tunnels. You will see the faults and fractures protruding from the mine tunnels. This will give you some idea of how large these faults and fractures can be. It will also help you to visualise them for future dowsing. The visit will also include a visit to Devils Gorge which is another early 19th Century lead mine where you will also see, inside the tunnel, a pot hole and sink holes. This will give you the opportunity to dowse for underground water sources and the geology of the area.

There will be a further two day course 30th and31st July which will be a field trip to Clogau Gold Mine, Bontddu, Dolgellau. Further information will follow in due course

A chance to get together and talk dowsing. Two day workshop in fresh open countryside of North Wales.

Hone your map dowsing at Rhydymwyn a former secret site - factory for mustard gas during WWII now a nature reserve and community resource.

Then explore Loggerheads Country Park to trace underground water.

Peter will be able to show you the geology of the area as much of the rock strata has been exposed by mining in pre-Victorian times. As many of you know, knowledge of the underlying geology of an area can be very helpful in visualising and understanding the strange courses underground water will sometimes take, and there are few places in the country better than Loggerheads park to see the underlying geology of an area exposed.

Then spend a well-earned evening at the Antelope 5 minutes from the study site, where we can have a meal and talk over a pint about everything dowsing.

Below you find all the info you need to help you plan your weekend. The antelope offers rooms for you to stay in and there are many other options nearby.

Peter, a seasoned water dowser with many boreholes under his belt, has extensive knowledge of this area having worked with it for many years, and he is happy to share his knowledge and encourage others with their dowsing. Attendees to Peter’s workshop in 2010 were enthusiastic in their praise and many of them will be attending the April event.

 Feedback from Oct 2010 workshop...

'We had a great time.' Jackie Notham

'The enthusiasm and encouragement from Peter and his team was very supportive of the courses aims, ..., a big thank you to Peter and his team, and the staff at the local pub for their support, ... and a big thank you to our fellow mud hoppers and lead miners for your conversation, humour and good company.' Greg Pain.

'...So conversations tend to be far-ranging and personal at the same time. The interactions in this weekend’s group were facilitated by Peter through his example... his transparent sincerity and his commitment to what he does made his teaching very powerful. I came away with a renewed sense that many honest people in the world are doing their damnedest to make things better. Thank you, Peter and his group, and fellow-students too, for a very stimulating weekend.' Ali Pollard
